Mick Jones Dynamite

Mick Jones’s (whom Blenkinsopp worked with while with The Clash) Big Audio Dynamite performing live at a very schizoid venue Brooklyn Ball, Williamsburg. They were well on. Didn’t this man inspire me to write Youth? He may be bald now but he is still jumping and clashing.

Special Touch

Genius modifying his beautiful Fu2s to facilitate the exciting new line up with Andy Rourke on bass and Alan McSeveney on guitars.

This week, KiNo Live Rig will be installed at the Shapeshifter Lab — a brand new performance space in Brooklyn founded by bassist Matt Garrison (Son of legendary musician Jimmy Garrison). KiNo will hold a weekly residency in September. —  Jeff Blenkinsopp at Ears, Nyc.

Spanky the Jealous Landlord

An authoritarian creature who likes to sprint, claw and fly out of closed windows. East Village, New Yorkshire.

Lobbying

Chelsea Dwinell and Julie at the lobby of Ace Hotel after the Jetlag dj set (Andy Rourke and Olè Koretsky).

Ace

Press and booking representative of KiNo; Ms. Chelsea Dwinell — Ace Hotel, 29th Street.

The Man Who Decodes Me

Hiro at 87 has taken my barnet for a very nice spin with his shears. Hiro is my hero when it comes to giving me a light head. Where are the birds in the desolate terrain of New Vague City?

Is it a Tent or Batman’s Cape?

Andy Rourke, Noho, just before midnight.

Little Italian Moment

Two bass players, four mafia guys and one italian. Andy Rourke, Francesca Mor, Hannah Moorhead in Somewhere in Noho with KiNo.

Multiplicity of Angles in Filmmaking

Multiple Axis Space Test Inertia Facility — Astronauts were thrown in this contraption to practise how to gain control of a tumbling shuttle, similarly I feel that the next episode of Live! (coming soon) will deliver the same effect by its light savouring montage.
