A Splendid Beginning

Leaving the first full band rehearsal that rocked. From left to right, Producer Jeff Blenkinsopp, drummer Niko Bikialo and synthieuse Shahla Atlas. For details and more pictures jump to KiNo Live.

9 in Washington DC

America appears as it really is, a massive post colonial western town. So strange, so very strange. The monuments will tell you the story; the obelisk from Egypt, oracle from Greece, and the garden from France. The congress building straight from England.

Washington Dc is a ghost town without memory, the heart of the media and industrial empire of 50 or (is it 52) united states. Credit where it is due.

Juini Booth and My Bass

Legendary bass player Juini Booth, just done a set with my bass, he who taught me a bunch of things. Nublu, New York.

50 Percent of Why I Came to New York

He was at home here. The other %50 is New York is a heck a lot cheaper than London. Moving back to London is inevitable, in order for me to do that New York has to be floored first. ‘Round the corner.

Myth Making

The illustration that summarises the birth of Imp.Vis.Past: the KiNo autobiographical album with some 42 songs (currently and counting), which I have been working on intermittently during the 6 years of production development with Blenkinsopp.  The result of this bout is about to be seen with the groundbreaking technological advances made for the KiNo Live. In the meantime, we will be performing a suite of songs out of this album in the upcoming shows.

Gala

Small world. Befriending Italian dance star Gala. What a lovely gal, in great spirits!

Springing

On a beautiful spring day – this café on Wythe avenue is  where I like having my ritualistic daily coffee.

The Rehearsal Bout

Guitarist Alan McSeveney at the ‘Space’ where KiNo Live is being prepared for action. The live performances will take place on the 6th floor of a building in Manhattan starting in April.

From Studio to Rehearsals

With the completion of the development period for our custom made equipment, we left the headquarters Ears for the rehearsal space (aptly named as ‘The Space’ by Alan) in Brooklyn. For the next 3 weeks, we will be putting the KiNo Live show together. Now, the music!

Happy Birthday Blenkinsopp!

Today, we celebrated my mentor and biggest supporter Jeff Blenkinsopp’s birthday at Ears. Also today, Alan finished off the mind blowing job of transferring the KiNo Live Rig from the development case to its new flight case, all ready to go!
