Continuity

After two fun-craze events and some strange circumstances in the gallery, we decided to move the shows to another space (to be announced).
Invasion from Within will continue its programme with special collaborators including; Malcolm Cecil, Joe McGinty and Andy Rourke.

Andy Rourke — Special KiNo Live Set

In collaboration with the legendary bassist Andy Rourke of the Smiths, KiNo is working on a special set of performance for the sonic exhibition: Invasion From Within in June at the World Monuments Fund Gallery.

Girls at Work

The lovelies: Ana Rita (engine of this operation called New Vague – Invasion from Within; the KiNo exhibition in  June) and Jessi Baker (Our Pr Division).

Godfather of Synthesisers

Malcolm Cecil; genius of musical and technical frontiers (the man also known for electrifying Stevie Wonder) with KiNo, the poet of sound and image.

Mr. Blenkinsopp with his predecessor, the godfather of synthesisers, Malcolm Cecil who expressed his musical brain on the machines he built and synthesiser manufacturers like Bob Moog develop.

The TONTO

The legendary, world’s largest synthesiser Tonto (The Original New Timbral Orchestra) in its lair — Upstate New York, Malcolm Cecil’s Studio. We went to visit Malcolm Cecil to work out the details for the upcoming KiNo Exhibition ‘Invasion from Within’ featuring Tonto and special collaborative performances in a month long programme of music.

Invasion from Within

A meeting at EARS. The committee (Curators Belen Moreno Bosch & Ana Rita and Sonic Wizard Jeff Blenkinsopp)
responsible for  the ‘Massive thing in June’ approves my titling  ”New Vague — Invasion from Within” to take place in June at the World Monuments Fund Gallery, a leap away from the Flat Iron Building.

Massive June Revealed: The KiNo Exposition

Presented by B2Arts and the Analog Lab, for the entire month of June, I will be taking the multi-facets of my work to exhibition at the World Monuments Fund Gallery space on 27th street and 5th avenue.
